Summative Assessment: Thursday 6th October 2016

•Your first summative assessment of the year will be next Thursday (6thOctober).

•You will recieve a mark for category C (33%) and category D (33%)

•You will be marked on your use of the following:

–Adjectives and adverbs used to express emotions (from the Student Book)

–Crime and gang vocabulary from On the Sidewalk Bleeding

–Conditionals (all four! We’ll be revising these today)

–A variety of past tenses (past simple, past continuous, past perfect) *We’ll be looking at these more closely over the next week

–Phrasal verbs (from a Quizlet list that we’ll be looking at soon)

–Persuasive language devices (we’ll spend a short time revising these also)
